Product Details:

Accuracy Class0.5 & 1.0 class
Frequency50Hz
Current TypeAC
Range50/5 to 4000/5 AMP
ApplicationCurrent Measurement
Rated CurrentUp To 4000/5A

Note: CT Rating should selected in between 40% to 90% of the full load rating

Calculation of va burden :
Theare are two types of burden while measuring on meter

  • 1) Instrument individual burden- A
    Max va = 0.75 (Calcuated burden on analog and Digital meter of all make)
  • 2) Wire burden wich is connected to instrument - B
    Va burden is (A•B)
    Safety multiplication factor is - 1.2 or 1.5 Times Hence total va burden is = (A+B) x 1.2
    For Example :- Wire size is 1.5sq. mm, For Copper Cable    lenpht is 5 meter
    = 0.75 x (5/1.5)
    = 2.5 va x 1.2
    VA=  KxL/S = 3 Va
    Where K= 0.5 = 5 Sec, There for Required CT= 3VA
    L= Length of Wire
